Understanding which of your business activities qualify for tax incentives and reliefs, and knowing how to make the most of them, can help your business reduce its tax bill and attract investment.
Our expert team can advise you on the full range of tax incentives and reliefs available to UK businesses, including:
Research and development
R&D claims can make a significant difference to your business, whether you are looking to surrender R&D losses for a cash credit, or reduce its profits chargeable to corporation tax. Our expert, commercially-astute team will work with you to ensure the claim is robust, while still being in a position to submit the claim as soon as possible.
Government statistics highlight that many eligible companies are missing out on the benefits of the Patent Box system. We will make sure you are not one of them, as making the most of Patent Box can almost halve your company’s corporation tax position.
Creative industries relief
If you operate in industries such as theatre, film, TV or video game, your business may qualify for creative industries relief. Our team will work to understand if you are eligible and how much you can claim. We will then continue to advise and guide you through the claim process, ensuring you are compliant and on track at every step.
Enhanced capital allowances
Claiming enhanced capital allowances can help your business to significantly offset capital costs. Our experienced advisers will help you ensure all assets that qualify are identified and the relevant claims are made within the corporation tax computations.
Land remediation relief
Land remediation relief can provide significant savings to companies in the commercial property sector, with reliefs available to both investors and developers. We will work with you to ensure all assets that qualify are identified and the relevant claims are made to obtain relief or a tax credit.
