Adam is passionate about helping entrepreneurs and fast-growth businesses to build and evolve. He works to ensure their financial ambitions are realised as effectively as possible.
Whether those entrepreneurs are setting out on their first start-up, selling their business or expanding internationally into new territories, Adam brings the benefit of his extensive experience, accumulated over 30 years, to help them realise their objectives.
Having advised businesses in sectors ranging from professional services to property, international trading, media, tech and recruitment, he knows how experience gained in one sector can be used by businesses in others.
It isn’t just Adam’s commercial expertise that helps entrepreneurs succeed. He also brings his professional training and skills in audit, accounting, finance and tax to offer truly holistic business advice.
He has worked with highly successful entrepreneurs, who are leaders in their own field, with the aim of maximising their personal wealth for the benefit of both themselves and their families.

Craig leads the tax practice at Wilson Wright. His knowledge covers all areas of taxation, enabling him to expertly guide clients through highly technical personal, corporate and international matters with ease, while offering innovative and commercially-sound solutions.
His specific areas of expertise include domestic and international structuring and restructuring for both business and private clients, HMRC dispute resolution, and support to ultra-high net worth individuals on all aspects of their taxation affairs.
He has a further specialism in mergers and acquisitions, having led the tax aspects of numerous transactions at all deal price levels and supporting business owners, CFOs and legal tax partners alike.
Craig is skilled at translating extremely complicated tax legislation into easily understood language, remembers the most obscure legislation and case law, and works with an honesty that both clients and colleagues respect.
Warren joined Wilson Wright in 2001 after qualifying in 1988 with Arthur Andersen in London.
Warren has a wide variety of clients in many industries, with particular experience in media, property and offshore structuring.
He undertakes business development work and specialises in planning exit routes and growth strategies for clients. He also helps clients to develop their business plans, identifying clear route maps and milestones for them.
As an extension to this area of work, Warren is our Corporate Finance Partner and is able to undertake corporate advisory work including due diligence, whitewash reports and forensic work. Since being with us, he has been involved in advising on many acquisitions and disposals for clients, ensuring the process runs smoothly. Several of these assignments have been for quoted companies.
Warren is an expert on the issues of inward and outward investment and has worked with many firms setting up operations in the UK and abroad.
He is also a keen golfer and bridge player.
Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2008 and attained his first partnership position in 2010, Lee is now a successful entrepreneur, business leader and financial confidant to the successful.
As a business founder, business owner and entrepreneur himself, he has played crucial roles in the establishment of businesses including, but not limited to; envirotech innovator Polymateria and wealth management firm Mulberry Bow. Lee has a deep understanding of what it takes to ensure a business achieves its full potential owing to his hands-on experience.
As an investor, Lee has more than 10 years’ experience successfully deploying his own money into diverse businesses including financial, medical and environmental technologies.
As a partner in Wilson Wright LLP Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers, Lee plays a crucial role in ensuring that the firm is at the very forefront of the industry as well as delivering significant projects for clients and for the firm itself.
Passionate about giving back to business and the wider community, Lee works with entrepreneurs, business leaders and others to bring ideas to reality and help more established businesses deliver for their stakeholders.
He is also a thought leader, always searching for opportunities to develop businesses which would bring about a step-change in a market or industry. While his current areas of focus are largely in the Technology and Sports sectors, he takes pride in being sector-agnostic, with the ability to apply his skills and experience wherever it adds the most value.
His tenacious, nothing-is-impossible approach to getting things done as well as his holistic commercial awareness and tax knowledge has made him a valuable asset to some of the most successful family offices, where he continues to drive their strategies and projects for both the individual family members and related businesses.
Jamie joined the Wilson Wright audit team after qualifying with Ernst & Young in 2003. He has been a partner since 2008 and currently heads our business services department.
Jamie has a broad experience in all aspects of accounting, auditing, corporation tax and financial management. He has significant experience in property investment and development, sport, leasing, and the arts. Jamie acts for clients ranging from early stage start-ups through to established international groups.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and has an honours degree from the University of Birmingham in accounting and finance.
Nikki is a hands-on business adviser. She takes great pride in working closely with her clients to understand their aspirations and challenges – and helping them achieve their goals.
Nikki has a broad spectrum of clients, with particular expertise in the technology, financial services and charities sectors.
As joint head of the firm’s audit department and the firm’s charity partner, she works closely with all partners to service the firm’s audit and charity clients.
Nikki also works closely with numerous internationally owned companies, providing them with the necessary support to operate in the UK without locally-based administration staff.
Michael thrives on the challenge of working with our clients to fully understand their businesses, their needs and their aspirations. He constantly ensures we work effectively to build long-term relationships and provide a personal service of the highest quality.
With over 20 years’ experience in audit and accounts, Michael specialises in working with growing owner managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients in both the UK and internationally.
He works with businesses across a range of sectors, including property trading/investment, technology/innovation, hotel/leisure, recruitment, professional services and limited company subsidiaries of overseas groups.
Away from the office, he is a busy dad and husband. He enjoys the weekends spending as much time as possible with his wife, family and friends, while also trying to improve his golf handicap.

Emma joined Wilson Wright in 2014. She became a partner in April 2019.
Leading the practice’s transaction tax team, her diverse background enables the delivery of advice across a breadth of tax matters that are particularly well suited to owner managed businesses, entrepreneurs and transactional matters.
Her warm personality reassures and builds client confidence. She explains complex technical matters in a way that people understand, delivers pragmatic commercial guidance and provides overall assurance that clients’ best interests are preserved.
She also sits on the global tax committee of DFK International, reinforcing her strong international links on cross border transactions, and was shortlisted in the 2019 Tolley’s Taxation national awards.

Having started her career with HMRC over 30 years ago, Karen has a wide breadth of experience in all areas of Personal Tax, advising both UK based individuals and those with an international background, structuring their taxation affairs and providing proactive advice, to steer clients through complex tax situations.
Karen is passionate about impeccable client service and trust is key to her approach. She has built client and third party relationships spanning 20 years and prides herself on providing honest and transparent advice. Giving strategic and practical guidance to non domiciled clients prior to their arrival in the UK, is a particular area of expertise, as wealthy individuals and their families continually move between tax jurisdictions.
Prior to joining Wilson Wright, Karen personally founded and successfully built a Boutique City Tax Business, and brings to the Partnership a blend of commercial and sound tax knowledge, with the ability to put clients at ease.
An avid Francophile, Karen is married to Jason, with two children and enjoys spending any spare time with her family and friends in France. She is also a keen cyclist, having completed various charity bikeathons and when time allows, volunteers at St Francis Hospice.
Tom joined Wilson Wright as a graduate after his accounting and finance degree. He is a member of the ICAEW.
Tom works with entrepreneurial clients in a variety of sectors, ranging from property through to technology and energy. He builds a close working relationship with clients, providing timely advice and management information to help them realise their business goals.
Using his expertise in corporation tax, specifically on matters such as R&D tax credits, capital allowances and group reliefs, Tom ensures he is continually adding value to his clients.
Deon van Tonder
Deon van Tonder
Deon joined Wilson Wright in 2015, after spending six years at a top 20 practice in London. He comes from the “rainbow nation” of South Africa.
Deon has a wealth of experience in audit, financial reporting and corporation tax. He works closely with clients in a number of different sectors including retail, investment property, software development and manufacturing.
He has also advised and conducted financial due diligence on a number of client acquisitions.
At home, Deon enjoys the open road with a pair of running shoes or a bike. And when England’s weather gets the better of him, then like any true South African he’ll settle for watching sport.
Michael joined Wilson Wright in 1975, becoming a partner in 1978 and reaching the position of senior partner in 2013. Although he stepped down in April 2019, he has been central to us becoming one of the City’s leading independent firms.
He was part of the leadership team that led an internal restructuring and was instrumental in the recruitment of several new partners.
Michael has maintained a sizeable portfolio of clients, many of whom he has acted for more than 40 years.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys travelling around the world and is also a keen sportsman, often taking to the green to play 18 holes on his days off.
Richard joined Wilson Wright in 2014. He previously worked at an accountancy firm near Guildford and has an honours degree from the University of Portsmouth in accounting and finance.
Richard’s current client base covers a broad range of industries including property, retail and music publishing. In addition to assisting clients with accounts preparation, audit and corporate taxation, he also has experience working with entities regulated by the FCA and the SRA and understands their specific reporting requirements.
Richard is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Outside the office he is a keen traveller and runner, having recently completed the London Marathon.
Nadeem joined the firm in 2019. He previously worked for a mid-tier firm based in the city for over 5 years.
Nadeem has experience working with an extensive range of corporate and non-corporate clients from self-employed individuals and business start-ups to large multi-million-pound corporate international groups. He has worked with clients across an array of sectors including manufacturing, retail, property and professional services. He also has vast experience dealing with SRA reporting requirements.
Nadeem is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Away from work, Nadeem enjoys travelling, watching cricket, playing football and following Manchester United.
Nicola joined the firm in May 2020, having previously worked for another accountancy firm in Central London for 8 years, and has a degree in Accounting and Finance.
Nicola has a wide range of experience in audit, financial reporting and corporation tax for different sectors including manufacturing, retail, hospitality, private equity, charities and investment property.
As well as working in practice, Nicola also spent 2 years of her career working in industry. This has provided her with valuable experience, gaining an insight into the workings of a business, which has enabled her to better understand the needs of her clients.
Nicola is focussed on client satisfaction, delivering a quality and personal-led service. She believes that providing clients with the support they need, will enable them to focus their time on growing their business.
When time and weather permits, Nicola enjoys walking, kayaking, spending time with family and friends and eating out.

Chris joined Wilson Wright in 2013. He is a member of both the Association of Taxation Technicians and the Chartered Institute of Taxation, and has over 20 years’ experience in personal tax.
When dealing with his clients’ affairs, Chris is always looking for tax saving opportunities. He believes in understanding his clients so that any potential tax liabilities can be planned for over the short, medium and long term. Chris helps business owners, buy-to-let landlords and non-domiciled individuals with their tax affairs.
Chris leads our Private Client team. His passion for customer service and saving tax permeates throughout the team.

Steve joined our tax department in 2006, having worked for a number of top 10 accounting practices for the previous 25 years.
He specialises in all aspects of private client taxes, and has particular expertise in advising internationally mobile clients in tax residence, domicile, pre-entry planning, and tax efficient remuneration. He also advises on estate and succession planning, as well as the use of onshore and offshore trusts.
Steve also takes a keen interest in business development.
His budding career as a professional footballer was prematurely cut short due to knee problems (or so he says!).

Magda qualified as a chartered certified accountant with a top 15 accountancy firm in London. She joined Wilson Wright in 2012 as a management accountant and was promoted to the Head of Business Services in June 2015.
Magda loves working with start-ups and established businesses. Her expertise is management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, VAT compliance and cloud solutions.
She helps clients to set up the most effective and cost-efficient accounting systems, ensuring data is properly captured and robust controls are in place.
Magda has a broad experience in cloud accounting and the apps/add-on solutions available on the market. She works with clients from various industries, including media and entertainment, manufacturing, property investment, retail and e-markets.
In her spare time she loves running and spending time with her family.

Muriel joined Wilson Wright in 2015 and leads our statutory department. She deals with all aspects of company formations and statutory work.
Muriel graduated from the Aix-en-Provence Faculty of Law in France and, after spending a number of years in Russia, moved to the UK in 2001.

Shani joined the firm in February 2018 and brings over 15 years’ experience in leading finance and operation functions. Working within Professional Services sector for most of his career, Shani has worked with mid-tier and Big 4 firms including PWC, BDO & EY.
He has a proven track record in financial management and managing operations teams within client driven environments.
Being commercially minded, he drives, influences and challenges the business to achieve its financial and operational goals.
He provides commercially focused solutions and insight to support the firm’s Financial & Operational strategy.
At Wilson Wright, Shani is central to the development and implementation of our firm-wide strategy.

Katy has several years’ experience providing a variety of HR services to a broad spectrum of companies, from The Walt Disney Company to Betfair.
With a master’s degree in human resource management from the University of West London and an industry recognised MCIPD, Katy has the expertise to provide informed, practical HR advice.
She helps to drive staff development at Wilson Wright through training and support. She also takes an active part in attracting and recruiting talented new members to the practice.

Farzana is a marketing communications and business development specialist with over 18 years’ experience.
She graduated in business administration and marketing at the University College in Northampton and is ACIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) qualified.
Farzana has worked in professional services for most of her career across a range of senior marketing roles with mid-tier and Big 4 firms.
She has proven experience in creating, developing and implementing multi-channel marketing and business development strategies, as well as engaging and advising senior stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Clare joined Wilson Wright over 25 years ago. After a recent switch in role, she now provides administrative support to both HR and marketing – where she is making a major difference. Clare has a good understanding of our clients and believes in giving them the very best service.
Outside of work Clare has a very busy family life, but always tries to make time for a run or a game of badminton.

Alison started her career working for Thames Water before moving to BDO and EY. She joined Wilson Wright in 1997 as the sole member of the payroll department. Since then she has been instrumental in growing the department and has built up a client portfolio of over 250 clients.
Alison specialises in helping clients with all aspects of payroll and auto enrolment compliance.
She is a keen traveller and counts visiting Uganda to see the gorillas as a major highlight in her life.

Ryan takes pride in delivering on time, every time, and has an eye for detail. He likes to plan and get work done to the highest standard under time constraints.
Ryan’s specialism is payroll. He has a particular interest in automatic enrolment workplace pensions.
His role involves managing a portfolio of clients, ranging from single director businesses to complex large multi-employee organisations.
After more than a decade working in payroll, he has gained a wealth of knowledge that helps with processing various payroll schemes – for a variety of clients – on a daily basis.

With more than 20 years’ experience in the accountancy payroll environment, Caroline provides extensive support designed to remove the burden of payroll processes.
With a penchant for accuracy, she listens to your needs and streamlines the payroll processes to make it more efficient for you and your business.
She also has a particular interest in working with starts-ups and making sure they adhere to the many complex rules and regulations across payroll and pensions.
Caroline deals with a range of clients across many sectors – including retail, law, entertainment, real estate and environmental projects.
Away from the office, she likes nothing better than being outdoors and indulging in her favourite hobbies of walking and hiking.

Alex joined Wilson Wright in 2014, having worked for EY after obtaining an economics degree from the University of Birmingham.
He qualified as a chartered accountant in October 2017 and became an audit manager in October 2018.
During his time at Wilson Wright, Alex has provided professional services to corporate entities from a variety of industries – including consumer electronics, entertainment, music publishing and property development.
Outside of work, Alex is an avid cinema-goer and football fan, visiting the Emirates Stadium as often as possible.

Laura studied economics at the University of Nottingham. She joined Wilson Wright as an audit and accounts manager in 2019, having qualified as a chartered accountant at her previous firm in 2014.
Laura has audit experience in several industries, including sport, film, theatre, manufacturing, legal and financial services.
For fun, Laura enjoys eating out, travelling to new countries and is a keen supporter of Tranmere Rovers, attending matches whenever they play teams in the south.

Tom joined Wilson Wright in April 2012 as a graduate, having previously worked at an insolvency practitioner and as a credit analyst.
Tom qualified as a chartered accountant in April 2016 and became an audit manager in January 2018.
Since joining us, Tom has had a broad experience working across our diverse client base, developing a strong knowledge in providing services to corporate entities including statutory audits and accounts preparation, group entity accounting, corporation tax and VAT.
He has gained particular expertise in property development and rental, energy production, and investments.

Melanie joined Wilson Wright in 2015, having previously worked at a niche practice in St James’s. She has more than 20 years’ experience in personal tax compliance and is a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians.
Melanie has considerable experience in dealing with all aspects of the self-assessment tax system. She acts for a wide variety of clients, ranging from self-employed to high net worth individuals, landlords, partnerships and LLPs.
Away from the office she is a lifelong fan of Sheffield United. Her interests include watching all sports, cinema, cooking and travel.

Alison joined the Wilson Wright tax team in 2008, having qualified as a chartered tax adviser in 2002 and after working for 10 years in personal tax at a local firm after leaving university.
She has considerable experience in dealing with all aspects of the self-assessment system and compliance issues affecting clients. She acts for a wide variety of clients, ranging from self-employed individuals to high net worth individuals, non-domiciles and trusts.
Alison is also experienced in providing advice regarding ATED issues and organises ATED compliance at Wilson Wright.

Matthew joined Wilson Wright as a graduate in September 2014 after obtaining a degree in Accounting and Finance from De Montfort University. He became a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians in January 2017.
Matthew has considerable experience in dealing with all aspects of the self-assessment system. He acts for a wide range of clients, developing a strong knowledge in providing services to internationally mobile clients and high net worth individuals.
He has specialist knowledge in providing advice regarding Employment Related Securities (ERS) issues and manages the annual Employment Related Securities compliance at Wilson Wright.

Kate joined Wilson Wright in 2016, having predominantly worked within the UK’s top 10 accounting firms over the previous decade.
She is a chartered tax adviser specialising in advising businesses and their owners. She works for a wide range of clients, including companies, LLPs and partnerships.
Her areas of expertise include research and development tax credit work, both international and domestic tax efficient structuring, transfer pricing, and due diligence. Kate also has significant experience of working with private equity structures and professional service firms.
She works closely with her clients to ensure they keep up to date with their tax compliance obligations and are aware of tax planning opportunities and changes to the tax legislation that may affect them.

Emma is both an ACA qualified accountant and qualified chartered tax adviser, enabling her to take a holistic and commercial view of tax planning opportunities by understanding the impact planning will have on a company’s accounts.
In addition, her background in working with entrepreneurial and owner managed businesses has provided her with significant experience in dealing with both personal and corporate tax matters.
Her areas of specialism include advising on the Enterprise Investment Scheme, schemes of reconstruction, employee incentive schemes (including the Enterprise Management Incentive scheme), the residence position of both individuals and companies, and VAT.

Vakis is both a CGMA qualified accountant and a qualified chartered tax adviser. This provides him with a deeper understanding of key issues faced by businesses, enabling him to take a more commercial approach when advising clients.
Vakis has a strong background of working with high net worth individuals, high profile sports personalities, clients with property interests and owner managed businesses. He has significant experience in assisting early-stage companies with the Enterprise Investment Scheme and implementing share option schemes.
His areas of expertise also include corporate reconstructions, handling HMRC enquiries, and more specialist Code of Practice 8 investigations.

Emily has 20 years’ experience in HR and has worked with clients across varied industry sectors, including IT, digital, media and training. She takes a hands-on approach to HR partnering and is used to communicating with individuals at all levels within an organisation.
As a CIPD qualified HR specialist, Emily has supported senior management teams across the range of HR issues, from employee relations and organisational development, to the day-to-day management of people.
Emily’s operational and board level experience makes her well placed to understand the wider commercial and operational issues faced by business managers and supports her in providing sound HR advice to clients.
