Step 1: Google search: ‘Self-employed income support scheme’

Step 2: Click on the top link

Step 3: Scroll down to “Check if you’re eligible to claim” (half way down) – click on the green “Check now” button

Note: You will need your UTR and NINO

Step 4: Enter UTR and NINO number (No spaces) – this will confirm if you are eligible and from when you will be able to make the claim

Step 5: Click continue and sign in with your government gateway ID

Step 6: New way to identify: photo driving license, passport questions or multipole choice security questions

Passport questions:

• Passport number 9 numbers no letters
• Surname
• Given names
• Expiry date

Then give email address and number (optional)

Takes you back to whether you are eligible and from when you are able to make the claim
