City of London-based accountancy, tax and business advisory firm, Wilson Wright, has been awarded accreditation under the Investors in People Standard, demonstrating their commitment to realising the full potential of their people.

The firm, which celebrated its 125th anniversary last year, currently has 10 partners and 65 staff. It offers a range of accountancy, tax and business advisory services to businesses and private clients across the UK – and beyond, as part of its membership of international accounting association, DFK International.

Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results.

Underpinning the Standard is the Investors in People framework, reflecting the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry.

Working with clients across the globe, Investors in People enables organisations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale.

Commenting on the award, Adam Cramer, CEO and Partner at Wilson Wright, said:

“The quality of the service we provide our clients is inextricably linked to the performance of our people.

That is why it was great to see such high levels of satisfaction amongst our staff in the inspection report and to have our employment practices commended by an independent third party in this way.

Looking after our team is ultimately key to looking after our clients.

Having recently launched an employment advisory service to add values for our clients, we are proud to be able to act as a model to others.”

Katy Cobbold, Head of HR added:

“We are all so pleased that everyone’s hard work and commitment to the Firm has been recognised, as our people strategy has been at the forefront of the Firm’s vision over the last 3-5 years. Many of the changes and initiatives which have been introduced, have come from our Employees so they have a real sense of ownership over their roles within the Firm”.
