Michael joined Wilson Wright in 1975 and later became a Partner in 1978, before eventually reaching the position of Senior Partner. Since then he has been central to the firm becoming one of the City’s leading independent firms.
He was part of the leadership team that five years ago led a restructuring of the firm and he was instrumental in the recruitment of several new younger partners to the practice at that time.
Michael has maintained a sizeable portfolio of clients, many of whom he has acted for more than 35 years.
However, since becoming Senior Partner the balance of his work has changed significantly and he is now far more focused on the running of the practice and in looking for new opportunities to further expand the practice.
Outside of work, when he has the time, Michael enjoys travelling around the world, exploring new locations and cultures.
He is also a keen sportsman, often taking to the green to play 18 holes on his rare days off from running our award-winning firm.
