City accountancy firm Wilson Wright has been announced as a finalist in the Tolley’s Taxation Awards 2017 – one of the UK’s most prestigious tax honours.
The firm, based at Holborn Circus, has been shortlisted for the Best Single Office Practice at the awards, which recognise the highest levels of excellence within the tax sector.
The nomination follows a number of years of sustained growth for the firm’s tax division that Craig Nicholson, Tax Partner at Wilson Wright, attributes to a strategic policy of appointing key specialists in areas of taxation that has expanded the firm’s advice, while maintaining its tradition of providing first class services.
Speaking about the shortlisting, Craig Nicholson said: “Wilson Wright’s tax team has enjoyed continued growth over recent years.
“A series of key, and specialist, additions to the team have driven an expansion in both the depth and breadth of the tax advice we offer, without losing the personal, service focused ethos that has always been the cornerstone of Wilson Wright’s business.
“This blend of personal service, commercial focus and expert taxation advice has positioned the firm at the leading edge of the profession.”
Wilson Wright will find out if it has won the award at a ceremony due to be held in May at The London Hilton in Park Lane.
This shortlisting follows the firm’s win last year at the 2016 British Accountancy Awards, where they were announced as winners of the Independent Firm of the Year in Greater London category.
“We hope that this shortlisting will cement our position as one of the City’s leading independent tax and accountancy practices,” added Craig.
