Warren Baker, a partner at Award-winning London accountants Wilson Wright, has shared his views of post-Brexit Britain with peers around the world.
Warren recently took part in an online discussion with Sherman Mohr and other guests from Enterprise Worldwide – an international network of accountants and finance specialists.
During the discussion Warren discussed the ramifications of the vote and the experiences of the UK’s businesses based upon his experience on the frontline in the City of London.
He also looked into the reasons for the split from the EU and the likely future outcomes of Britain’s departure from the Union.
During the talk Sherman Mohr said: “Many of the points Warren made demonstrate the resilience of the British economy and why being bullish on business formation and growth in the UK may be a good bet.”
The talk featured insights not discussed widely in the US and looked at how businesses are responding to give the American audience a better appreciation of the opportunities and issues the UK is facing.
“I was very honoured to be speaking with Sherman, who is well known in the US business and accountancy community,” said Warren. “Having spoken with him it is clear that many businesses in the US are just as uncertain about Brexit as businesses in the UK, but they are keen to learn more about new opportunities that are becoming available in Britain.
“Much of what we discussed looked at the reality of the current situation and the potential future outcomes following the vote and I hope my informed insight will prove useful to those who have already listened.”
