In recent years interest in Wilson Wright LLP’s tax services has grown significantly, thanks to its success assisting a wide range of clients with complex issues.
To bolster its already exceptional tax services team it has managed to recruit one of Sopher + Co’s leading directors, Neela Chauhan.
As Head of her previous firm’s tax division she has worked with a number of high profile clients to deliver a variety of tax services, while pushing audit, investment and accountancy support to a wide range of businesses and high-net worth individuals.
Neela joins the top City accountancy firm Wilson Wright at an important point in the practice’s history, as it seeks to expand into new markets and continue with its success attracting new clients.
Her international approach to tax, with particular expertise and experience in Scandinavia, USA and Asia, makes her the ideal appointment for globally-focused Wilson Wright, who recently joined the prestigious DFK International network.
Speaking about her appointment, Neela said: “Wilson Wright has established itself as one of the UK’s top independent tax practices thanks to its talented team of tax advisers. Through its strong reputation for delivering first-class advice and support they have managed to attract a number of high profile clients to the practice.
“With my appointment I intend to continue and expand this pattern of exceptional growth by providing proactive, tailor made services and advice to clients, while also identifying new areas and markets for the firm to explore.”
Michael Lerner, Senior Partner at Wilson Wright, said: “Neela is the perfect addition to our tax department and brings with her knowledge and a forward thinking approach to tax, which will prove vital as we move forward with plans for expansion and growth.
“Wilson Wright already has a well-established reputation for providing tax services and I am sure that Neela will only enhance our position in this competitive market.”
Neela will assist Wilson Wright’s team with all aspects of tax compliance and planning – providing expert advice and support on Inheritance Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT, non-domicile related tax and a broad variety of personal tax issues.
She will also seek to innovate the firm’s current offering using the experience she has gained during her time in the profession as a qualified Chartered Tax adviser.
Neela is also a member of the prestigious Women in Film and Television (WFTV) association, which has been achieved thanks to her role as a professional adviser to the industry – where she has assisted clients in front of and behind the camera – and her passion as a producer having co-produced her first film.
