EISA joins business lobby group

The Enterprise Investment Scheme Association (EISA) has confirmed it is joining the lobby group Enterprise Nation.

EISA, which works to promote both the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) and the Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS), is the latest organisation to join the taskforce – which was set up to promote the interests of the UK’s SMEs.

Mark Brownridge, EISA’s director general, said that working together gave organisations and enterprises a “more powerful voice.”

“Over the past five years, the UK has become one of the best places in the world to start and grow a business. The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor puts the UK at number one in Europe and number four globally,” said Mr Brownridge.

“This has been enabled by the low costs of start-up entry, accessible technology, a flexible economy and a positive attitude towards self-starters and entrepreneurship; from the media, large corporates, and government.”
