Warren has been with Wilson Wright since June 2001. He joined as a Partner, having trained with Arthur Andersen and then pursued various roles both in and out of the profession including working for a NASDAQ quoted shipping company and a niche corporate finance boutique.
His key focus is acting for clients in the property, music rights, and telecoms sectors and assisting overseas companies with a wide range of issues from offshore structuring to inward investment in the UK.
Warren is also the firm’s Corporate Finance Partner and he often undertakes corporate advisory work, including due diligence and forensic work for clients.
Outside of work Warren’s two main passions are wine and golf, though definitely not at the same time.
Warren is a lover of red wine and has been collecting for a number of years. He describes his love of wine as a lifelong passion, and while he doesn’t have a preferred region, his one requirement is that the wine is good.
His other passion golf, sees him regularly taking to the course at Dyrham Park Country Club in Hertfordshire, where he can often be found on weekends come rain, snow or sunshine. He has a handicap of 15 and regularly takes part in club competitions.
Warren is married and has two daughters aged 18 and 21, with whom he enjoys spending his spare time.
Warren’s view on life is such that he always tries to have fun and live life to the full. This is the result of a number of significant life changing events. These include twice having open heart surgery. He says that when these things occur in your life you reassess how you live and what you want to do, as the next day may be your last.
Warren also loves to travel and is never happier than when he is running around an airport.
