Adam Cramer has been with our team at Wilson Wright since 1988, having joined as a qualified Audit Senior following an initial four year training period with a mid-sized accountancy firm.
By 1994, at the age of 28, Adam was made a partner and has since helped to spearhead our Corporate Department specialising in work with inward investment into the UK by international businesses and family owned entrepreneurial companies and start-ups.
Adam has built a sizeable client base that covers many varied sectors and industries. In particular he acts for a number of clients in the media, IT, fashion retail, and recruitment sectors.
Adam recently played an instrumental part in Wilson Wright’s membership of DFK, an international network of accountants, when he delivered a speech at their conference in Sweden, which ultimately led to the firm being accepted into the network.
Outside of work, Adam is a proud father of three, two girls and a boy aged 15, 13 and 10. He enjoys spending time swimming and going on bike rides with them, as well as testing his own knowledge by helping them with their school studies.
In 2012, Adam was part of an eight person team that managed to row their way across the English Channel in a one-tonne Cornish Gig and he continues to take an interest in a wide-range of sports.
His key life-defining moment was saving the life of a young girl. Two years ago Adam was on holiday with his family in Tenerife when he heard shouting and noticed a large crowd and a police presence. This was focused on a young girl and her family who were struggling having been swept off rocks into very rough seas.
Without a second thought he dived into the water and managed to rescue the young girl, but tragically two other family members who were with her could not be saved.
His brave actions were covered by The Telegraph, a number of other British and European newspapers and in radio and television broadcasts.
